Citizens of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Lebanon enter Georgia without a visa, along with many other countries listed below. Others apply for an e-visa, and we help with it. The rules are updated from time to time, so always rely on the official source before booking.

Countries that enter Georgia without a visa

Arab countries (up to one year, no visa)

Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon.

Other Arab countries, such as Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, are not on the visa-free list. But a holder of a valid residence permit or visa from the EU, the US, the UK, Canada, Australia or the Gulf states may enter without a Georgian visa for 90 days within 180 days, and everyone else applies for an e-visa.

EU member states, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, Vatican City, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, South Africa, Botswana, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize, Dominican Republic, Dominica, Bahamas, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Shorter stays

90 days within 180: Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Fiji, North Macedonia. Iran: 45 days.

Do Gulf citizens need a visa for Georgia?

Gulf citizens usually enter without a prior visa, but the rules change. Check the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website before booking.

And residents of a Gulf country?

It depends on your nationality and your residence. Some nationalities need a valid Gulf residence permit and some need an e-visa. Check the official e-visa portal.

Which documents should I prepare?

A valid passport (check the required validity officially), a return or onward ticket, a hotel booking or trip itinerary, and travel insurance. If you book with us we send you the hotel and itinerary confirmation.
